Challenges of the project

Compliance and Safety in Healthcare

Developing tools that adhere to international safety standards and medical regulations for radiation protection, particularly in hospital environments.

Scientific Collaboration and Advanced Calculations

Designing applications and algorithms in close collaboration with radiophysics experts to accurately model radiation exposure, including patient dose calculations.

Interoperability with Medical Systems

Ensuring seamless integration of monitoring tools with diverse medical equipment (scanners, MRIs) and centralizing DICOM data.

Data Security and Access Management

Implementing secure patient data handling with LDAP integration, ensuring compliance with strict healthcare data regulations.

Our Mission’s

Development of the Radiation Protection Platform

Designed and developed a comprehensive platform using Symfony and jQuery for managing and monitoring radiation protection data.

Creation of Scientific Tools

Developed algorithms in Python with Pandas to calculate patient skin dose exposure. Contributed to the open-source OpenREM project by building radiation analysis and dose modeling tools.

Integration of Monitoring Tools with Medical Equipment

Configured and connected monitoring systems (OpenREM) to imaging equipment (scanners, MRIs) via PACS servers using Orthanc. Integrated LDAP servers to manage user access and ensure patient data security.

Centralization and Processing of DICOM Data

Configured storage servers for patient images and DICOM data, enabling statistical analysis of exposure levels and cumulative doses. Designed reporting tools for detailed radiation statistics.
